The recent Border Championship at East London Golf Club served up a feast of celebrations for Azelia Meichtry from Switzerland, local favourite Demi Flanagan and Gauteng junior Ivanna Samu.
Meichtry claimed her third title this season in the Stroke Play Championship and Samu regained the number one spot in the Womens Golf South Africa Senior Rankings on Sunday, while Flanagan recorded an unprecedented fourth Match Play victory on Tuesday.

Border golfer Zethu Myeki made a superb start to her title defence on a very blustery first day at the Border Championship on Saturday. Myeki reeled in three birdies to offset a pair of bogeys for an opening one-under-par 72.
