Two-time champion Sandra Winter got her bid for a hat-trick in the South African Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship off to a flying start at George Golf Club on Monday. The Kingswood golfer took full advantage of the perfect conditions and hurtled straight to the top of affairs with a two-over-par 74.

The South African Golf Association (SAGA) today stated that any acts of discrimination or violence by its members will not be tolerated.
“The SAGA does not discriminate on the basis of race, religious, sex or national origin, nor does it condone any form of violence from its members,” said SAGA Acting President Geoff Taylor.
