Lara wins in Tanzania
Lara Weinstein won the 54 hole Tanzanian Women's Amateur Championship played at the TPC Club in Kilamanjaro from 4 - 6 December, four strokes ahead of Swaziland's Nobuhle Dlamini.
Southern Africa Hall of Fame launched

Yushira finishes fifth in US Junior Masters
SA Junior Yushira Budhram carded 78, 76, 75 (+13) in the United States Junior Masters golf tournament to finish in fifth position. The inaugural event was played on the Ocean Course at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Ponte Verdra Beach, Florida from 20 to 23 December.

WGSA announces team for Mexico
WGSA President Erica Lefson announced today that Kim Williams and Iliska Verwey will represent South Africa in the Mexican Championships and International Pairs event to be played at the Club de Golf, Vallescondido, Mexico City from 10th to 14th January.
SAGA and NGN to formalise contract buy out
At a meeting of the SAGA National Executive Committee, held in Benoni on the weekend, it was agreed to conclude a contract with National Golf Network (Pty) Ltd (NGN), in terms of which the SAGA would buy out the agreements NGN has with individual golf clubs for the provision of handicapping services and systems.
