WGSA announces strong team for Regional All Africa Championships
WGSA President Erica Lefson announced today that Ashleigh Holmes, Pam Hayward and Marné Roos will represent South Africa at the Regional All Africa Challenge Tournament to be played in Swaziland from 29th April to 4th May, 2009.

Western Province's Yvette du Plessis won the Western Province stroke play championship at Rondebosch today on a three under par 141 (68, 73) against a field which included 14 of the top 16 on the South African amateur ranking. One stroke back was 17 year old Bertine Strauss on 142 (71, 71) and Kim Williams picked up the third spot on 143 (71, 72).

Dreyer wins Glacier SA Amateur Championship
