Samu seals hat-trick at Chase to Investec Cup for Ladies

South Africa’s Ivanna Samu defeated Swiss amateur Azelia Meichtry in a count-out on five-over-par 221 for the leading amateur honours in the Sunshine Ladies Tour’s Chase to the Investec Cup for Ladies.
Meichtry had the advantage started the final round after rounds of 73 and 68 at Houghton Golf Club while Ivanna posted scores of 72 and 73.
However, the leggy South African closed with a 76 to edge out Meichtry, who shot 80 in the final round.
