Durban Country Club to host SA Open Championship
Durban Country Club will host the 100th playing of the South African Open Championship from 16-19 December 2010. This was confirmed by the South African Golf Association and Dlamini Weil Communications, the new promoters of South Africa’s flagship golf tournament.

Former Eastern Cape star Tanica van As, now living in KZN, won th36 hole Durban Regional Championships played at Bluff National Park Country Club on Sunday.
SAGA announces team for WATC
The South African Golf Association (SAGA) announced the names of the three players to represent South Africa in the biennial World Amateur Team Championships. The team is Dylan Frittelli, Dean O’Riley and JG Claassen .
Chen wins at Houghton
SA Junior Champion Connie Chen continued her run of victories when she won the 36 hole Nomads Gauteng Stroke Play Championships at the newly redesigned Houghton Golf Club this week. Her score of 149 (75, 74|) was two strokes ahead of SA Champion Kim Williams 151 (75, 76) and another junior, Lara Weinstein, also having a great year, was a stroke back on 152 (72,80).

The Limpopo Amateur Open was held at Koro Creek from 9 - 11 July 2010. A total of 157 entries were received and a pre-qualifying round was held the day before the tournament proper began.
The Koro Creek golf course played host to its first tournament of this magnitude since it underwent a redesign and a name change from what used to be called the Nylstroom golf club.
