Top-ranked Kim Williams is awarded Gilly Tebbutt Trophy

Last year the Gilly Tebbutt Trophy was awarded for the first time to the player who topped the WGSA Ranking at the completion of the Inter-Provincial Stroke Play Championship in September.

This year Kim Williams has topped the WGSA ranking for the whole year, won all her singles matches at the Astor Trophy in England earlier this year and also at this Inter-Provincial Championship. She is the current South African Stroke Play Champion, having successfully defended the title she won in 2010.

Former Springbok and Protea golfer and multiple SA Amateur Champion, Gilly Tebbutt presented Kim with the trophy at the 2011 Pick n Pay SA Women’s Inter-Provincial Championship held at George Golf Club in mid-September.
