Scott takes North West Title

Little known Kyle Scott played superb golf to hold off three current National players and win the North West Open Strokeplay title by three shots.

With his closest challenger after two rounds, Steve Williams faltering (78) Kyle scored a solid 1 under par 71 in the final round to leave the chasing pack in his wake. With rounds of 66;68 and 71 Kyle beat off players the caliber of Norman Raad, Charl Coetzee and Jbe Kruger who all finished 3 adrift on 208. Joining them at 208 was Nicol Van Wyk.
