SA team trail Scotland by 3 points to 2 after morning foursomes at Leopard Creek

South Africa dominated the first 9 holes in the morning foursomes when they were up in 4 out of the 5 matches at the turn. Three of the Scottish foursomes teams then won 3 early holes, just after the turn, and the Scots dominated from there on out.

If it wasnt for Ruan de Smidt and CJ du Plessis (pictured) who won a vital point when they broke the deadlock and won the match on the last hole, SA would have been struggling going into the afternoon singles trailing by a 4-1 or 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 margin. Instead SA find them self in a point behind and the test match nicely balanced.
