SA extend lead against the Scots at Leopard Creek

The SA team extended their lead in the Test Match against Scotland at Leopard Creek in the morning Four Ball (Better Ball) session. The morning session was highlighted by Ryan Dreyer and Jared Harvey’s 6/5 win which for Dreyer was a huge comeback from his 7/6 drubbing by Paul Shields in yesterdays afternoon singles.

The Four Ball session looked like a closely contested affair early on and at one stage the SA Team looked like they may give up some of the lead that they fought so hard for in the singles session on tuesday afternoon. The back 9 however saw them fight back to win the session 3 points to 2 which gives them the luxury of taking a 3 point lead into the final session of the test match where 10 singles points are on offer. The SA team currently have 11 1/2 points to the Scots 8 1/2 which effectively means they only need 4 points in the singles to win the Test.
