Mid-Amateur Inter Provincial at Roodepoort ready to get underway

Today saw all ten Mid-Amateur Provincial teams having their final practice rounds at Roodepoort Country Club before the tournament gets underway tomorrow morning at 7am.

The sunny and hot conditions gave the players a perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing practice round before the pressure of match play enters the frame tomorrow.

The week promises to be an enjoyable one as the weather is expected to be hot and sunny throughout the week and the golf course is in fantastic condition.

The quality of golfers at this the second year that the Mid-Amateur Inter Provincial seems to be improving year by year as each year sees more interest being shown in Mid Amateur golf by some of the leading amateurs of yesteryear.
