Lumien leads the field at Graceland

Lumien Orton leads the WGSA 72-Hole Teams Championship after first round of two-under 70 and takes the Free State team to second position on the team log, two strokes behind the leaders North West.

In second place on the individual leader board is North West’s Nicole Becker and the surprise of the round was a level-pat 72 from Western Province C’s Daniela Viotti playing off a 3 handicap.

The second and third rounds of the event take place over 36 holes today and the final round will be played tomorrow, Wednesday 26 May.
