Lee-Anne Wins second title in China

UZHOU (China) Oct 31, 2010: South Africa’s Lee-Anne Pace had the best two weeks in China as she picked up her second victpry by winning the Eur200,000 Suzhou-Taihu Ladies Open after being involved in a four-way playoff with USA’s Hannah Jun, Paraguay’s Julieta Granada and Netherlands’ Christel Boeljon at the Suzhou-Taihu International Golf Club.

The four players ended the three-round tournament with identical five-under 211 with three of them Hannah, Pace and Granada finishing the final round with a 68 while Boeljon signed off with a one-over 73.

The four professional looked very nervy in the first playoff hole on the 18th with Pace having the best chance to wrap it up after being two-on ion the par 5 hole but she three-putted, while Hannah and Boeljon missed making the birdie from less than two feet. Granada was eliminated after scoring a bogey.

The players went back to the 18th tee again and it was Pace again who was two-on and this time she did not waste the opportunity when she two-putted to win and looking up to the heaven she said: “Wonderful in China”
