Lamprecht leads pack at Woodhill
2 April 2018 – Southern Cape junior Christo Lamprecht carried a two shot lead into today’s second round of the Nomads SA Boys U-19 Stroke Play Championship in Tshwane.
The GolfRSA National Squad player racked up seven birdies in a flawless display at Woodhill Country Club to leave the chasing pack behind with a seven-under-par 65.
David Amm from Zimbabwe was also bogey-free in his first round 67 to move into second, while North West junior Christiaan Burke finished in third place with a four-under 68.
Defending champion Jayden Schaper nabbed a share of fourth at three under alongside Gauteng North pair Luhan Bester and Alexander Pienaar, as well as South African Golf Development Board member Cole Stevens from Central Gauteng.
