It’s anyone’s day at SA U-19 IPT

The A-Section battle on day two of the 2015 South African U-19 Inter-Provincial is wide open with no-one really dominating in the Foursomes, but Free State is on the march in the B-Section battle for promotion at Worcester Golf Club.

A-SECTION
Western Province squared their Foursomes against Boland 2, but the defending champions are down against KwaZulu-Natal, who won two games and halved another in.
The Boland team will have to rally in the Singles against KwaZulu-Natal, though, after the 2014 B-Section champions dominated with three victories to gain a two point edge.
Gauteng North, with two points in the bag from the first round, defeated Ekurhuleni in two games and halved another for an early one point lead.

B-SECTION
Free State went on the rampage in the first round to score a clean sweep against Border and hand Mpumalanga an 8.5 – 3.5 drubbing. This morning they whipped North West 4 – 0 to start the Singles with a commanding lead.
Meanwhile Border and Limpopo drew 2-all, but Border will carry a one point lead into the Singles against Northern Cape after defeating the newcomers 2.5 – 1.5.
The Foursomes between Limpopo and Northern Cape also ended in a 2-all stalemate.
