GolfRSA launches new initiative for club golfers

Leopard Creek is the venue for the National Final of the new Cape of Good Hope Wine Series.

GolfRSA is proud to announce a new golf tournament for affiliated club golfers around the country, featuring some priceless prizes for winners and lucky draw participants.

Designed as a platform for golf clubs to engage with their members, the Cape of Good Hope Wine Series is a Betterball Stableford tournament that will enable winning pairs from the Club Qualifiers to contest a Regional Final in a qualifying process that culminates in the National Final on the aspirational Leopard Creek golf course.

Winners of the National Final will be invited to play in the Pro-Am of the Alfred Dunhill Championship at Leopard Creek.

What’s more, every golfer who registers and plays in their Club Qualifier is automatically entered into a Lucky Draw for a chance to win a VIP Guest Experience at the Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland.

For those who haven’t entered to play in the Series, fear not: there is a still a chance for you to win your way to the Dunhill Links Championship – with a second VIP package up for grabs.

Here’s how to enter:
1. Create a Wine Club Account at Anthonij Rupert Wyne.
2. Purchase some Anthonij Rupert Wines (to the value of R1 200).

The Cape of Good Hope Wine Series launches this month, with a view to expanding the tournament to more clubs in 2020. Any that missed the opportunity to participate this year will be included in the 2020 tournament, which will start in November 2019.

“We are extremely grateful to Anthonij Rupert Wines for the opportunity to partner with them in an initiative that will add a new, exciting and unique tournament platform for our affiliated golfers,” commented GolfRSA CEO Grant Hepburn.

“With their support, we are able to enhance our strategic objectives of creating more value for our club golfers around the country.”

GolfRSA is committed to providing opportunities for golfers of all abilities and, following the successful introduction of the GolfRSA Club Champion of Champions, the Cape of Good Hope Wines Series is another important element of GolfRSA’s commitment to everyday amateur club golfers and golf clubs.
