Gilly plays in 37th IPT

The 49th SA Women’s Inter-Provincial was played at Paarl Golf Club last week with Rondebosch’s Gilly Tebbutt competing in her 37th tournament, and she continues to represent Western Province’s in their A team.

With Gilly in the team, Western Province won the Inter-Provincial in 1987 in Port Elizabeth, in 1989 and 1995 in East London, at Clovelly in 1997 and at Kyalami in 1999.

She won her first SA match play championship in 1984, and repeated her success again in 1988, 1990, 1991 and 1995. She was also the SA stroke play champion in 1986, 1989, 1990 and 2000.

A truly remarkable golfing career!
