Ekurhuleni’s proud first women’s golf teams

The City of Ekurhuleni gave its first women’s golf teams a “send off” party Tuesday evening before departure for the Women’s Golf South Africa’s 72 Hole Teams Championships to be played at Polokwane from 21 to 23 May.

Members of the team were presented with their provincial blazers and the MMC of Sport, Recreation, Art and Culture, Ekurhuleni handed over the kit to the players. The City had given support to the new union of Ekuhuleni Women’s Golf and wished them well in their first national tournament.
