Branden shows good form

After two solid loops of 34 and 31 young Southern Cape golfer Branden Grace signed for a first round 65, one stroke off first round leader Desvond Botes. Brandens round consisted of 18 blemish free rounds with eight birdies, 2 in the first nine holes and 5 birdies on the back nine.

Not letting the preasure get to him Branden made a solid start to his second round with 2 birdies and a bogey in his first nine holes. After getting trough the turn at -8 for the tournament Branden started the back nine with 5 solid pars before making a birdie on the short (202 meter) 15th and another on the par 5 sixteenth to move to -10 for the tournament.

Branden finished his second round in spectacular fashion by birding the par 5 eighteenth for a second round 68 and a two round total of 133 (-11).

After two rounds Branden finds himself in a tie for 3rd one shot behind joint leaders Louis Oosthuizen and Divan van der Heever who are on the 16th and 18th holes respectively.
